The Surface Finishing Equipment Group can provide bespoke training courses for both blasting and painting operatives.
Features
- All courses incorporate essential Safety Instruction.
- Trainees learn the most efficient selection and use of equipment meaning companies can find the cost of the course is recovered within a short time frame.
- All Trainees Receive a Certificate of Attendance.
- Courses can be run for Minimum 3 People, Maximum 8.
- Bespoke courses can be arranged to meet customers specific needs, covering particular topics or types of equipment.
- Questions will be encouraged at any time, including site specific queries. Attendees will be shown an overview of alternative types of equipment including problem solving units.
- The emphasis will be on safe operation and good housekeeping at all times.
- Our training courses are attended by both operatives completely new to the industry or by experienced blasters and painters who need a refresher course.
- All Course Dates are planned to suit customer requirements
Location
Our training courses can be run at either of our training facilities in Stockport or Washington or at the customers premises if required.
Costs
- All courses @ £205 + VAT per person, based on min 5 people per course.
- All rates quoted are per person + VAT for training at our premises in Stockport and include instruction, hands-on experience, course notes, refreshments and lunch on Full Day Courses.

Blast N'Vac Operation, Safety & Maintenance - 1 Day
As above but with practical session on this system and greater emphasis on operator skills in using the equipment to maintain full vacuum recovery and correct handling of any toxic coatings removed.
Satblast Operation, Safety & Maintenance - 1 Day
As above but with the practical session on this system and greater emphasis on operator skills in using the equipment's variable pressure, including very low pressure, capabilities to best effect.
