Satblast Dustless Blasting System
The versatile SatBlast is a wet blasting system which offers a modern solution for environmentally friendly blast cleaning. The SatBlast has been developed to provide controllable abrasive cleaning power which is ideal for dustless blasting of all surfaces including stone, concrete, brick and steel.
Advantages

- The unit can operate at very low pressure for stone, brick and concrete cleaning avoiding water ingress into cracks and crevices and eliminating damage to the surface of the bricks etc.
- The unit also operates at high pressure for powerful blasting and cleaning to provide a key on steel and concrete.
- Uses less abrasive when compared to dry blasting alternatives.
- “Dust Free” operation protects your operatives and passers by from dust inhalation. No dry dust ingress into adjoining properties. Operator is able to work without cumbersome PPE. When the dust from standard dry blasting is an issue the SatBlast is the ideal solution and avoids the use of toxic chemicals.

- The SAT Blast is a fully pneumatically operated unit and is available in an ATEX version for use in hazardous areas such as the offshore and Oil & Gas industries.
- No permanent water supply required / no water pump to fail.
- A single, very portable unit, as simple to operate as a standard blast pot.
- Suitable for one-man operation, easily moved around site.
- Fully Adjustable Media Flow using an air operated Thompson valve
- Can utilize damp abrasive.
- Wash down facility built in.
- Unit can also be used for dry abrasive blasting to give greater versatility.
- The main vessel is designed and tested in accordance with the Pressure Systems Directive and is CE marked.
- Vibration levels are well within the requirements of the Physical Agents Directive, as shown by the test results which are available on request.
- Unlike High Pressure Water Systems the ‘Satblast’ will provide a key on new steel.
Recommended media
- Silica Free Sand Grade Media – ABRABLAST fine
- Stone Grit Fine or Extra Fine.
- Garnet.
- Very Fine Grits or Mineral Slags.
This System is Designed for use with FINE Media in a Saturated Form, NOT Medium or Coarse Grits/Mineral Slags.
